5 Women With The Most Wins In NORTH History

As the great Beyoncé Knowles once said, “Who run the world? Girls”. But maybe the real question should be, who runs the women’s division at NORTH? It would be strange if Beyonce did ask that question considering that song came out in 2011 but here is the answer anyway.

Lizzy Evo: 4 Wins

Lizzy Evo made her NORTH debut back in the first show back from the pandemic in August 2021. Since then, Evo has been a menace among the women’s division, causing more chaos than a Divock Origi winning goal.

The Liverbird has impressed in her short time at NORTH, picking up victories over the likes of Gia Adams, Visage, and Jake Silver. Most impressive of all, Lizzy Evo is the only person in NORTH who has a pinfall victory over the indestructible Rhio.

Most recently, the Scouse Scrapper came close to glory by reaching the semi-final of the NCL Cup but came up short of the eventual winner, Rhio, in a close-fought battle.

Session Moth Martina: 5 Wins

Session Moth Martina is a veteran of the NORTH women’s division, making her debut back in 2017 and having 11 matches since.

Highlights of Martina’s time at NORTH include a tag victory over former NXT UK Tag Team Champion Flash Morgan Webster and winning a hardcore rules match against the Violence Artist, Charli Evans.

Martina went on a three-match winning streak soon after her debut which earned her an opportunity at the NORTH Championship. The Queen of Sesh Style faced the then King of NORTH, Rory Coyle for the title in what was a closely contested battle that could have gone either way.

Coyle came out on top in this bout, but this was an excellent showcase for Martina to prove herself as a top competitor and a potential future champion.

Gia Adams: 6 Wins

No woman has competed in more matches in NORTH history than Gia Adams who has earned the right to be named as a pillar of the promotion.

The Young Starlet has some of the most memorable matches that have left the crowd in awe of her insane power and resilience. Adams’ accomplished array of victories have come at the expense of the likes of the technically gifted Laura Di Matteo and the dastardly conservative Landed Gentry.

A true testament to the endurance of Adams is defeating both Lizzy Evo and Taonga in a three-way match that was essentially a handicap match due to the pre-arranged alliance of her opponents.

The Hardest Hitting Lass in the North East did not have the best 2022 in NORTH but there should be no doubt in anyone’s mind that Gia Adams will be back on top soon enough.

Roxxy: 6 Wins

Roxxy was the first woman to win a match in NORTH back in 2016 and since then has had one of the most impressive series of matches out of any roster member.

The Radge Rumbler defeated Session Moth Martina in her NORTH debut and then went on in the next few shows to collect wins over Stardom alumni Kris Wolf and the Demon Princess Shax.

A highlight of Roxxy’s time at NORTH came in a hard-hitting bout with Viper (now known as WWE’s Piper Niven) that caught the attention of viewers up and down the country. The Angel Of The North couldn’t find victory against Viper but did have an extremely impressive showing.

Roxxy’s last appearance at NORTH was all the way back in 2020 with a submission victory over Dani Luna. Hopefully, this won’t be the last we see of Roxxy…

Rhio: 8 Wins

The most successful woman in NORTH history. The first ever NCL Cup winner. The most indestructible star in all of wrestling. These are just a few ways to describe Rhio.

Since making her debut in NORTH, only five wrestlers can say they have won more matches than Rhio with four of them being current or former champions. Only one person has ever been able to score a pinfall victory over Rhio and that was in her first NORTH match.

To put it simply, Rhio is one of the best wrestlers to ever step into the squared circle at the Anarchy Brew Co.

The Red Rose Among The Thorns has been truly dominant, having a streak of singles victories that include defeating Charlie Morgan, Gia Adams and Eve Bateman.

Rhio’s crowning moment at NORTH came when she won the inaugural NCL Cup by beating Kid Lykos II, Lizzy Evo and Jack Bandicoot all in one night. This achievement ensured that Rhio’s name would always be remembered as one of the greatest competitors in the history of NORTH.

Most recently, Luke Jacobs became the latest victim of this indestructible winning streak which has no end in sight.
