COVID-19 Show Procedures

With the NORTH Wrestling restarting we want to make sure that the venue is a safe and enjoyable environment for all, so we are introducing a negative lateral flow test or double vaccination pass entrance policy.

Negative lateral flow tests are the easiest and quickest solution – they’re free and take a few minutes to do.

We believe that it is the responsible course of action for us to take as our customers’ health is of paramount importance.

Doing so will allow us to keep on running events and provide a safe place where everyone can stand, drink, shout, laugh and cry at wrestling once again!

We will check the COVID status of our attendees on entry by either:

  1. Proof of a negative lateral flow test

  2. Proof of a double vaccination.

Negative lateral flow tests are the simplest and easiest option (see steps below)

Step 1 – Obtain a free test by either ordering online or by visiting a pharmacy, including Boots (order online hyperlink to www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests).

Step 2 – Follow the instructions provided with the test kit, complete the test at home within 24 hours before the event starts.

Step 3 – Register the test result online at https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result scanning the QR code included with the test kit.

Step 4 – Show the negative test result to our staff at the bus pick up or entrance to site (do not bring the physical test with you).

Step 5 – Enjoy the event!

If you have COVID-19 symptoms. Get a PCR test and self-isolate, even if symptoms are mild. If you receive a positive test or someone else in your household tests positive, please do not attend the event.

A Covid pass can also be granted with:

  • Testing – Negative LFT or PCR test taken within 48 hours of the start time

  • Vaccination – 2 weeks after receiving your second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine

  • Positive PCR test within the past 6 months, after you’ve finished self-isolating

All attendees must show a negative test or NHS pass to be admitted to the venue.

Thank you for your understanding on this matter – it’s important that we all stay safe and play our part.

We can’t wait to see you!
