<image:title>News - 5 Wrestlers Who Have Competed For NORTH and Impact Wrestling - At NORTH, Katch competed against Rory Coyle in a brutal match for the Ultraviolent Championship. This bout had the perfect mix of entertainment and extreme violence with the competitors reenacting scenes from Partick Swayze’s greatest hits while also trying to concuss their opponents with exploding VHS tapes. Despite choking out Coyle until he deflated, an unfortunate referee bump came in the way of Allie Katch from capturing the victory on the night.</image:title>
<image:caption>Allie Katch was brought into Impact to face Masha Slamovich in one of the most sadistic stipulations in all of wrestling-a Monster’s Ball match. For those unaware, this match type forces the competitors to spend the 24 hours before the bell locked in a room with no light, water or food. As if those conditions aren’t brutal enough, the participants then have to compete in a gruelling hardcore battle. Katch took to this environment like a duck to water, embracing her callous tendencies by using any weapon she could get her hands on. Both Katch and Slamovich took each other to the limit and each shed a worrying amount of blood throughout the brawl. Aliie Katch seemingly had the match won at one point after delivering a devastating piledriver onto a pile of thumbtacks but it wasn’t enough to put the Russian Dynamite away. Slamovich returned fire with a driver of her own onto the thumbtacks to earn the three-count.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - 5 Wrestlers Who Have Competed For NORTH and Impact Wrestling - During his NORTH appearances, Chuck Mambo is usually the highlight of the night, leaving the crowd in awe and his opponents in pain. Most recently, Mambo has come to NORTH with his tag-partner TK Cooper, known together as Sunshine Machine. The colourful couple have had great success across the country, becoming the longest reigning PROGRESS Tag Champions of all time but their time at NORTH tells a different story.</image:title>
<image:caption>Even with constant stellar performances, Sunshine Machine have come up short on two occasions when competing for the tag titles but with their star quality, it won’t be too long before the innovative duo get another opportunity to shine bright on the big stage.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - 5 Wrestlers Who Have Competed For NORTH and Impact Wrestling - At the biggest NORTH show of the year, Martinez put on one of the best matches of the year against the indestructible Rhio. This was a clash of a veteran against the rising star and both women showed why they were considered the finest of their division.</image:title>
<image:caption>The Latina Sensation threw an onslaught of vicious assaults that would have been enough to end most competitors but Rhio is built different. Just when it seemed Martinez was seconds away from finding victory, Rhio surprised the veteran with a package pinning combination to earn the victory.</image:caption>

In a clash of entertainers, Hendry faced off with WWE legend Scotty 2 Hotty that saw the Scottish Powerhouse come out on top, making his opponent tap out with his supreme submission ability.</image:title>
<image:caption>In a nice little bit of brand collaboration, Joe Hendry made history by defending the Impact Digital Media Championship in a UK promotion for the first time ever. <image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (3/3)//Sat 15th July - As expected, the Landed Gentry tried cheating immediately with a cheap shot before the bell but Coyle and Gangrel caught the attackers and returned fire by biting the noses of the Tories. Unsurprisingly, Coyle and Gangrel gelled together right away, taking turns to slamming Benji down hard.</image:title>
<image:caption>The Sick Boy was in firm control until a referee distraction allowed for Zeo Knox and Ace Matthews to beatdown Coyle. Benji and Knox tried to engage in an assisted assault but the former was caught by Coyle before being used as a projectile into Knox.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (3/3)//Sat 15th July - Gangrel entered the match and instantly went on a rampage, taking both members of the Gentry out with corner splashes and slams. The Vampire continued to fang and bang until Ace Matthews made another distraction to help Knox back into the match. Before too long, Gangrel found the energy to tag in his partner and in came a fired-up Rory Coyle.</image:title>
<image:caption>Coyle was fighting for his career and that was evident from the velocity he was moving at, taking both opponents out at once. The Video Nasty hit his signature Dip In The Lake on Zeo Knox but Benji broke up what would have definitely been the winning pinfall.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (3/3)//Sat 15th July - Benji was fighting for his hair and that was evident from the levels he was willing to steep to. A brawl between Gangrel and Zeo Knox combusted outside the ring which was enough of a distraction for Ace Matthews to hit Rory Coyle with a brutal low blow before Benji scored a direct hit with his croquet mallet.</image:title>

<image:caption>The Braided Brusier took control with a quick combination of a fireman slam neckbreaker and a pumphandle driver. <image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (2/3)//Sat 15th July - Margera started early with the pounding offence and went to amplify the pain by bringing out a door but before the match could get too unhinged, Janela slammed the door on his face with a basement drop kick. The Bad Boy went for some toys of his own, finding a steel chair from under the ring. Not to be outdone in his own backyard, Margera brought five steel chairs in the ring.</image:title>

<image:caption>The defending champion was in full control and went up to the top rope but was hit with a flying chair courtesy of the recovered Bad Boy. Janela quickly scurried up top and delivered a massive superplex before quickly following up with a piledriver onto a steel chair. <image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (2/3)//Sat 15th July - Knowing this, Joey Janela had to find something so excruciating to try and slay the Deathmatch Devil and this came from a cardboard box found under the ring.</image:title>
<image:caption>Janela revealed the contents were none other than hundreds of LEGO pieces and spread them all over the canvas. Before he could revel in his despicable scheme, Margera was revived and hit a Death Valley Driver onto the colourful bricks. With his challenger downed, the champion did some building of his own, setting up a door across two chairs. Before Margera could enact the next step in his wicked plan, he was met with a face full of LEGO followed by a face full of Janela’s boot.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The colourful collaborators hit a flurry of tandem offence before being cut off by the returning X and Oku. Robbie X hit a standing moonsault on Cooper before Oku hit a tremendous top rope springboard moonsault of his own that was almost enough to end the match if not for the Lykos intervention. Kid Lykos II used the commotion as a distraction so he could hit Mambo with a top rope Spanish fly followed by a Lykos running knee strike which again was only good enough for a two count.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (2/3)//Sat 15th July - Everyone was back in the ring, hitting their best shot with Oku finding an opportunity to lock in his signature half-crab submission on Cooper. Mambo ran to his partner’s rescue but was subsequently caught by Oku and locked into a new half-crab submission. It took both Lykos Gym members distraction to end this submission but Oku quickly laid them both out.</image:title>
<image:caption>On opposite corners, both Mambo and Oku delivered duelling frog splashes on Lykos Gym. Not to be outdone, Robbie X and TK Cooper hit mirrored spiral taps on the Lykos Gym. Kid Lykos I and II went outside to try to escape but Oku followed with a Fosbury Flop onto the champion. Robbie X followed his partner’s lead with a springboard 450 splash onto the Lykos Gym.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (2/3)//Sat 15th July - As if this was a challenge to see who could inflict pain in the most astonishing way, Sunshine Machine made a human tower but before they could do something insane, Kid Lykos II flew off the top rope and toppled the tower. Lykos II quickly hit a low blow and rolled up Cooper for a three count that successfully retained their titles.</image:title>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - Knowing he was at a disadvantage, Jordan took the fight to Brown before the bell, hitting a huge dropkick to send his opponent outside. Jordan kept the pressure cooking, diving straight onto Brown before slamming his head into the ring post.</image:title>
<image:caption>Back in the ring, Jordan hit his signature Swanton Bomb which had put so many foes away in the past but it takes a lot more than that to keep Rampage Brown down for three.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - The Karachi Kid went back for another aerial assault but was caught and slammed down by a rampaging Brown. A spell of domination was now upon us with Brown causing mass amount of damage from repeated shoulder tackles and one spine-shattering ura nage that would leave anyone at rock bottom.</image:title>
<image:caption>When all hope seemed fleeting, Jordan managed an away back into the match by catching a mid-air Brown with a superkick. After receiving so much punishment, Amir Jordan finally found a second wind and went for his second Swanton Bomb of the match but was met with a pair of knees as a landing spot.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - This reversal was enough for Brown to deliver bad news in the form of a devastating piledriver. Just like that, Brown had beaten Jordan to the dismay of the hundreds of disappointed faithful.</image:title>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - Once the Kroos threat had been temporarily eliminated, the alliances forged from mutual fear disappeared along with it. Each competitor tried to claim the ring but it was HT Drake who landed the best shot with a sensational rope-to-rope moonsault to take down Munny.</image:title>
<image:caption>Before anyone could capitalise on their momentum, Will Kroos rose again and demolished everyone in sight with little regard to the human beings he was tossing round the ring.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - Man Like DeReiss interrupted before Kroos could become too dominant and launched himself onto the collection of opponents on the outside. Never one to back away from a challenge, Jet Martial saw DeReiss’ dive and delivered one of his own but this one with the velocity of a fired bullet.</image:title>
<image:caption>Gene Munny was the last man standing in the ring and decided to cap off the trio of aerial acrobatics with an insane swan dive onto the pile of bodies.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - After the diving commotion, Munny was left alone in the ring with the monstrous Kroos. With any great David vs Goliath story, the giant usually has a weakness and the David of our story is an expert at this specific weakness.</image:title>
<image:caption>Gene Munny hit a devilish low blow to Kroos but this was only the start of this villainous tactic. Man Like DeReiss came at Munny. Low blow. Jack Bandicoot came flying at Munny. Low blow. Jet Martial went for Munny. Low blow. HT Drake took a shot at Munny. Jet Martial-assisted low blow. Will Kroos had returned. Springboard low blow. Going low was cash money for Gene but it’s also an effective strategy to become the most hated man in the match.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - Once the rest of the competitors found their way back to their feet, it took only a matter of time for vengeance to be struck. Everyone sans Kroos hit a four-way superkick to Munny before Will Kroos hit a hellacious low blow of his own.</image:title>
<image:caption>With Munny out of commission, normal service had resumed with Bandicoot and Martial colliding at a supersonic speed only to be stopped by a DeReiss powerbomb intervention. The Lyrical Dragon tried to get a grip on the match’s momentum with another powerbomb on Munny but Drake slipped in behind and showed incredible strength, suplexing both men simultaneously.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - The country’s best super heavyweight proved why he deserves that title as Kroos cleared the ring and delivered a devastating piledriver to Jack Bandicoot on the ring apron. Before Kroos could cause more damage, Man Like DeReiss decided to do the impossible and slam the 270lb beast. DeReiss didn’t stop there, going on to toss the rest of his opponents around the ring with ease.</image:title>
<image:caption>Topping it all off, the Lyrical Dragon soared with a picture-perfect 450 splash onto Munny which was enough to secure a well-deserved pinfall victory.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - Scotty 2 Hotty was back in NORTH and what a momentous occasion it was. Everything about this man was electrifying, from his entrance through the crowd to the prolonged stripping of his hat. Before Scotty could strip even more off, Shreddy took a cheap shot at the former WWE Tag-Team champion.</image:title>
<image:caption>Shreddy had not forgotten his previous humiliation at the hands of Scotty 2 Hotty and used that memory as fuel to his rage. The rage fuelled Shreddy charged at Scotty but his opponent was as slippery as a worm and dodged the attack like a matador would avoid a bull.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - It would take more than that to keep England’s hardest man down as Shreddy came back with a vicious assault that included a tasteful amount of choking in the ring ropes. With Scotty laid out, Shreddy took the opportunity to have some fun and put on his foe’s bucket hat.</image:title>
<image:caption>Now with the correct attire, Shreddy began the proceedings for the Worm was caught in the act by an enraged Scotty 2 Hotty.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Review (1/3)//Sat 15th July - The attitude-era star was seething at this mockery and retaliated the only way suitable; Scotty got a second bucket hat out of one of his many pockets and placed it atop his head. This new accessory had powered up S2H like never before, allowing him to deliver an abundance of blows before hitting his signature bulldog.</image:title>
<image:caption>The stage was set, the crowd was electric and the Scotty was Hotty. It was the perfect moment for the most brutal move in all of wrestling: the Worm. Like no time had passed, Scotty 2 Hotty hit the Worm to a raucous ovation which was enough to earn the victory.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - After many months out on the injury list, Shreddy made a shock return last show and immediately called out the man who humiliated him in the past, Scotty 2 Hotty.</image:title>
<image:caption>Shreddy was the victim of Scotty 2 Hotty’s devastating Worm manoeuvre last time the former WWE Tag Team Champion was at NORTH. There is no doubt that Shreddy has been stewing away during his injury spell, plotting the perfect revenge on Scotty.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Scotty 2 Hotty’s last match at NORTH saw him on the losing side to Joe Hendry in what was an extremely entertaining match between two of the most charismatic wrestlers of their respective generations. However, this match will be a completely different ballgame as Shreddy is not coming to entertain, he is coming to release a year of built up anger in the form of a savage assault.</image:title>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Rhio is undoubtedly the greatest woman to ever wrestle at NORTH. The Braided Bruiser has more wins than any other woman and only NORTH Champion Liam Slater and former NORTH Tag Team Champion Man Like DeReiss have more victories than her. As if all this was not impressive enough, Rhio won the inaugural NCL Cup winner and is on the longest current winning streak out of anyone in NORTH.</image:title>
<image:caption>However, there’s a Latina Sensation who specialises in snapping more than just winning streaks.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Mercedes Martinez is one of the most decorated wrestlers in the world. It would take a team of the nation’s best mathematicians to work out the number of titles that Martinez has won; some highlights of the impeccable accomplishment list include being the longest reigning ROH Women’s Champion and holding the WXW Women’s Championship and Shimmer Championship more times than any other competitor.</image:title>
<image:caption>This will be the 23rd year of Martinez’s hall-of-fame career but in that span, the veteran has never faced a challenger quite like the white-hot Rhio.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - After coming up short in a match of the year calibre affair with Michael Oku, Amir Jordan gave an emotional leaving speech to the NORTH faithful but before Jordan could deliver his own bad news, out came the personification of bad news: Rampage Brown.</image:title>
<image:caption>It had been five long years since Brown had last been at NORTH and he was back bigger and badder than ever. The mountain of a man went straight to work, destroying an exhausted Jordan with the most ferocious piledriver you’ll ever witness before demanding this match to take place.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - This will be a true David and Goliath story, but Jordan is less likely to use a slingshot in favour of just slingshotting his entire body at Brown. The Bhangra Bad Boy is an elite aerial athlete, his speed and evasion skills will make it almost impossible for Rampage to keep up with his opponent. However, if Rampage Brown can get his hands on Jordan, he could be in for a long night of powerbombs and piledrivers.</image:title>
<image:caption>What’s became apparent lately is how strongly the NORTH faithful are behind Amir Jordan who regularly gets one of the loudest reactions of any show he is on. This is the biggest show of the year with the largest crowd of the year; hundreds of fans will be behind Jordan but will this be enough to get him past the impossible task that is Rampage Brown?</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Gene Munny already holds a championship at NORTH. It may be unrecognised and homemade but he is still holding it. Munny may have found success in the tag division but it has been almost four years since the despicable deviant has won a match on his own at NORTH.</image:title>
<image:caption>Also, with his furry friends Lykos Gym defending their titles on the same night, Munny may have to split his attention between both matches which could be his downfall.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - HT Drake may literally own the ring but at Thunderstruck, he will be out to own the ring in a more theoretical sense. The Gimmick Killer has been with NORTH from the very beginning so it is very fitting that he finds himself in a key position at the biggest show of the year.</image:title>
<image:caption>However, during his long tenure, Drake has never been able to find any success in the way of championship gold. Winning this matchup could see the Geordie Gatekeeper start his ascent up the rankings and find himself in title contention.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Jack Bandicoot is very much the nearly man at NORTH, coming short in both the Tag Team Tournament final and the NCL Cup final. This bout could see Bandicoot finally turn his fortunes around and rocket jump himself to the top of the card.</image:title>
<image:caption>With a lot of the other competitors having the size advantage, Bandi will have to use his speed to his advantage to avoid any serious damage. Also, Will Kroos hates and will seemingly try to murder Jack Bandicoot at any opportunity, so that’s something to be wary of for this match.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Jet Martial recently took NORTH Champion Liam Slater to the limit and won’t want to wait too long before getting another shot at the top title. Martial is truly the perfect combination of strength, agility and resilience.</image:title>
<image:caption>If the Infamous One is able to polish his raw talent and take advantage of his insane potential, not only could he win this match but also start his journey to being the top dog in the yard.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Man Like DeReiss is the most decorated competitor in the match and will be many people’s favourite to win. The Lyrical Dragon was the inaugural Tag Team Champion, has the longest winning streak in NORTH history and has the second most amount of wins in the past three years.</image:title>
<image:caption>The impressive resume won’t be enough to win this match, but DeReiss’ immense power paired with his insane aerial attacks could get the job done. Interestingly, only two people have pinned DeReiss previously, one being in the main event of Thunderstruck and the other being the sixth man in this match…</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Will Kroos has been on a path of destruction only matched by a tsunami or a hurricane. The walking natural disaster is coming off a huge victory against Shigehiro Irie and now he has a date with five more potential victims.</image:title>
<image:caption>Being the largest competitor in the match, Kroos may see the other five team up against him but the fear of a Kroosificition may put those ideas on hold.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - The biggest show of the year is main evented by potentially the biggest match in NORTH history. This Liam Slater reign has been prestigious and seemingly never-ending, no challenger has been able to survive the intensity of Slater’s technical ability. The Lazarus Kid has defeated the likes of Joe Hendry, Michael Oku and Gabriel Kidd without letting the title escape his grasp.</image:title>
<image:caption>It has truly been the Slater Era since winning the title but the number one contender has his sights on writing his own story.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (2/2)//Sat 15th July - Leon Slater is the greatest teenage wrestler in the world. Maybe the greatest teenage wrestler ever. Think about who you think is the GOAT wrestler and ask yourself if they were this good at 18. The answer is probably not. This isn’t even hyperbole, Slater is genuinely the most impressive talent on any card he appears on despite being younger than Facebook.</image:title>
<image:caption>During his time at NORTH, the Youngest In Charge has left the faithful stunned with his light shattering offence which quickly made him a fan favourite. Slater may be one half of the greatest tag team in NORTH history, Boisterous Behaviour, but this is the time for his individual legacy to be forged in gold.</image:caption>

This is an era-defying match, whoever wins will always be remembered as the one who won the big one. Which Slater will be King of the NORTH? Find out at Thunderstruck!</image:title>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - Clint Margera is potentially the greatest deathmatch performer this country has ever produced. Unwavering consistency paired with an undying passion for violence makes the champion a perfect competitor for this type of match up.</image:title>
<image:caption>Margera has taken extreme to new heights at NORTH, bludgeoning Rory Coyle with a concoction of metal to win the title and snatching a life from the Head Cat Gary Jay in his first defence. It would take someone really good to stand a chance against Clint Margera…or perhaps someone really bad.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - The Bad Boy Joey Janela has conquered territories across the globe with his extreme hardcore antics resulting in collecting numerous championships in promotions such as GCW, DDT and WXW.</image:title>
<image:caption>Now the Bad Boy has his sights on NORTH’s most dangerous man and the Ultraviolet Championship in a match that is set to break much more than the glass ceiling.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - Sunshine Machine are a team with more chemistry than Marie Curie’s laboratory and offence as innovative as Tony Hawk in the 1999 X Games. If you were to build an ideal tag team from scratch, they would end up being an imitation of Chuck Mambo and TK Cooper.</image:title>
<image:caption>The radiant duo have just ended their record-breaking reign as PROGRESS Tag Team Champions, in which they defended successfully against Lykos Gym on two occasions.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. Andre 3000 and Big Boi. Micheal Oku and Robbie X. All duos that are amazing on their own but may be even better when together.</image:title>
<image:caption>Micheal Oku is one the shining jewels in the country’s crown and it won’t be long until the Master Of The Half-Crab is known as one of the greatest performers on the globe. Oku comes into this match fresh off of defeating the Great-O-Khan to become the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion; adding the NORTH Tag Team Championships to his collection would cement the legacy of the OJMO.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - Robbie X has been a stand-out performer on the British wrestling scene for almost two decades now and the King Of The Cruiserweights is only going to keep rising until his crown touches the clouds.</image:title>
<image:caption>With their abilities combined, Oku and Robbie X could easily find themselves as the top British tag teams and winning the titles in this match would be the rocket that launches them to stardom in this division.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - Lykos Gym have a humongous challenge on their hands but the nefarious collective have a knack for overcoming adversity. Having two teams to deal with won’t be foreign to Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II as the furry family originally won the titles in a triple threat tag match.</image:title>
<image:caption>The lack of disqualification in this bout will favour the champions as the delightfully devilish Gene Munny will no doubt find a way to stick his snout where it doesn’t belong.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - The last time Austin was in a NORTH ring, she was on the losing side to the debuting Natalie Sykes and this is the first encounter between the two since.</image:title>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - Natalie Sykes suffered her first defeat against Millie McKenzie last time out, ending an impressive winning streak but this will be an opportunity to put the 21st Century Liability back on the fast lane to the top of the card. This will be the first time Sykes and Bateman have shared a ring which should prove an explosive encounter between the two prodigies.</image:title>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - If Sykes does end up back in the fast lane, I hope she doesn’t let her partner in the driver’s seat as I don’t think Martina has been below the legal alcohol limit this decade. Session Moth Martina is a globetrotting star, having competed in top promotions like AEW, ROH and Stardom just over the past few years.</image:title>
<image:caption>At NORTH, Martina ranks fourth in all-time wins for a female competitor but a win at Thunderstruck could see the Session Moth fly into second place.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - The Landed Gentry has been a thorn in the side of the Sick Boy ever since they cost him his Ultraviolet Championship. Benji and Knox scored a tag victory over Coyle thanks to the interference of Ace Matthews. The Gentry returned the favour at the next show, interfering on Matthew’s behalf to help him be victorious over Coyle.</image:title>
<image:caption>For the first time in Coyle’s NORTH career, he has lost three matches in a row and if he loses a fourth, it will be his last match.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - THUNDERSTRUCK Preview (1/2)//Sat 15th July - Outnumbered and defeated, Rory Coyle wanted one more match but this time, with his career on the line. To make the pot even sweeter, the Sick Boy coerced the Landed Gentry to put the luscious locks of Benji at risk. The only piece missing from the puzzle was who Coyle’s partner would be but we didn’t have to brood over the mystery for too long.</image:title>
<image:caption>Gangrel is coming to NORTH to seep his fangs into a couple of Tories. What an amazing sentence. Rory Coyle could not have chosen a better partner to ensure his career does not die as Gangrel is literally an unkillable vampire. All the garlic in the world may not be enough to save Benji’s hair from ending the night on the floor of the Walker Dome.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - 5 Women With The Most Wins In NORTH History - Lizzy Evo made her NORTH debut back in the first show back from the pandemic in August 2021. Since then, Evo has been a menace among the women’s division, causing more chaos than a Divock Origi winning goal. The Liverbird has impressed in her short time at NORTH, picking up victories over the likes of Gia Adams, Visage, and Jake Silver. Most impressive of all, Lizzy Evo is the only person in NORTH who has a pinfall victory over the indestructible Rhio.</image:title>

<image:title>News - 5 Women With The Most Wins In NORTH History - Session Moth Martina is a veteran of the NORTH women’s division, making her debut back in 2017 and having 11 matches since. Highlights of Martina’s time at NORTH include a tag victory over former NXT UK Tag Team Champion Flash Morgan Webster and winning a hardcore rules match against the Violence Artist, Charli Evans.</image:title>
<image:caption>Martina went on a three-match winning streak soon after her debut which earned her an opportunity at the NORTH Championship. The Queen of Sesh Style faced the then King of NORTH, Rory Coyle for the title in what was a closely contested battle that could have gone either way. Coyle came out on top in this bout, but this was an excellent showcase for Martina to prove herself as a top competitor and a potential future champion.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - 5 Women With The Most Wins In NORTH History - No woman has competed in more matches in NORTH history than Gia Adams who has earned the right to be named as a pillar of the promotion. The Young Starlet has some of the most memorable matches that have left the crowd in awe of her insane power and resilience. Adams’ accomplished array of victories have come at the expense of the likes of the technically gifted Laura Di Matteo and the dastardly conservative Landed Gentry.</image:title>

<image:title>News - 5 Women With The Most Wins In NORTH History - The most successful woman in NORTH history. The first ever NCL Cup winner. The most indestructible star in all of wrestling. These are just a few ways to describe Rhio. Since making her debut in NORTH, only five wrestlers can say they have won more matches than Rhio with four of them being current or former champions. Only one person has ever been able to score a pinfall victory over Rhio and that was in her first NORTH match. To put it simply, Rhio is one of the best wrestlers to ever step into the squared circle at the Anarchy Brew Co.</image:title>
<image:caption>The Red Rose Among The Thorns has been truly dominant, having a streak of singles victories that include defeating Charlie Morgan, Gia Adams and Eve Bateman. Rhio’s crowning moment at NORTH came when she won the inaugural NCL Cup by beating Kid Lykos II, Lizzy Evo and Jack Bandicoot all in one night. This achievement ensured that Rhio’s name would always be remembered as one of the greatest competitors in the history of NORTH. Most recently, Luke Jacobs became the latest victim of this indestructible winning streak which has no end in sight.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Best Matches Of The Year (so far): Rory Coyle vs Allie Katch - This match had everything you would want from a Video Nasty blockbuster: recreations from Hollywood’s past, weaponised assaults and a tasteful amount of choking. The evasiveness of the challenger was a key element of the bout as Coyle couldn’t catch Katch with any substantial offence.</image:title>
<image:caption>If I had a nickel for every time Rory Coyle interrupted a scene recreation from a Patrick Swayze film, I would have two nickels. That’s not a lot but it’s funny that it happened twice.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Best Matches Of The Year (so far): Rory Coyle vs Allie Katch - The Final Girl met all expectations of an Ultraviolet title match, brutally using a kendo stick in a flurried assault before using Coyle’s classic jumper cables to attack the champions (Sick) Boy parts.</image:title>
<image:caption>It looked like it was time to roll the credits after Coyle hit his signature Dip In The Lake but Katch did the unthinkable and kicked out at 1. There was no time to marvel at this seemingly impossible feat as Katch immediately went on the offence and tried to call cut on this horror show.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Best Matches Of The Year (so far): Rory Coyle vs Allie Katch - The challenger once again got a hold of the jumper cables but this time she had a more breathtaking idea. Katch wrapped the cables around the neck of Coyle and tried to add to her own kill count by hanging him over the top rope. During the commotion of this attempted murder, poor sweet innocent referee, John Myers, was unintentionally taken out by a stray elbow.</image:title>
<image:caption>Once the oxygen had been drained from Coyle’s lungs, Katch delivered a rope-assisted piledriver that was enough to keep the champion down for a three count. However, unbeknownst to the competitors, the referee was still out of commission meaning the match will continue.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - The night started on a high with the exuberant Puf in the ring, performing an impressive dance routine with Tom Campbell. As lovely as it would have been to watch the two dance the night away, the scheduled bodyslam challenge had to take priority, but who would answer the call?</image:title>
<image:caption>Shockingly, Shreddy came out to make his first appearance at NORTH this year. Even more shockingly, the crowd were actually pleased to see Shreddy for the first time in many years.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Unfortunately, Shreddy was still carrying an injury that would rule him out of this challenge but he was here to let everyone know that he was the only man in the locker room who would be able to bodyslam Puf. The Jacked Stacked Daddy was so confident on this, he put his PSA 10 Charizard Pokémon card (worth £10,000) on the line for anyone who could complete the seemingly impossible feat.</image:title>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - With a huge bounty now set, Myles Kayman, with the Guiding Light Isaiah Quinn, was first to accept the challenge. After some pleasant introductions, Kayman had decided that the Guiding Light would be attempting the challenge on his behalf.</image:title>
<image:caption>This has suddenly turned into the biggest underdog story in NORTH history as Quinn geared himself up to lift a 418 pound man and slam him. Despite his best efforts, the Guiding Light could not even make Puf come an inch off the ground. After a failed second attempt, Quinn’s frustration boiled over and he slapped Puf which was about as huge as a mistake you could make; it took just a few short seconds for Puf to bodyslam his challenger in retaliation.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Myles Kayman didn’t want to be left out anymore and entered the ring to throw a bunch of his strongest running and springboard uppercuts at Puf. It was very ineffective. Puf brushed off the Golden Boy’s attacks and gave him a brutal bodyslam/back senton combination for his troubles.</image:title>
<image:caption>Now the challenge was out the way, it was time for another instalment of Puf dancing with various guests. This time Shreddy was getting jiggy with it, or at least he was before he decided to be his despicable self again.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Shreddy low blowed a dance-occupied Puf and delivered a splitting spear, stripping his sling in the process. We had all been tricked, backstabbed and quite possibly bamboozled by Shreddy but for why?</image:title>
<image:caption>We didn’t have to wait long to find out as Shreddy got on the mic and announced he was back and already had his first target in sight: Scotty 2 Hotty. It was time for revenge and it was going to happen at the biggest show of the year, Thunderstruck!</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Jacobs started off immediately aggressive, delivering more chops than a butcher’s supplier. After an onslaught of violence from the Young Gun, Rhio was finally able to counter with a huge suplex followed by a combination of kicks and knee strikes.</image:title>
<image:caption>Rhio tried to capitalise on her new found momentum with a dive to the outside but Jacobs quickly extinguished the comeback with a spine shattering slam onto the ring apron. Jacobs had taken full control of the match and had made Rhio’s back the victim of a targeted assault.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - It had looked like the end was near after Jacobs inflicted even more damage with repeated bodyslams but there is no quit in the indestructible Rhio. The Braided Bruiser fought back with power moves of her own, tossing Jacobs across the ring with ease. The two North West Strong members then traded German suplexes, unable to keep the other one down.</image:title>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - The Young Gun somehow survived the attacks and had his opponent in position for another suplex but Rhio expertly reversed the momentum to transition into a pinning combination which finally resulted in a three count.</image:title>
<image:caption>Rhio continued to add fuel to her blazing momentum after a cracker of a match with Jacobs. Before this segment could come to an end, AEW star Mercedes Martinez appeared on the screen to challenge Rhio to a match at Thunderstruck! <image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - The two bulls butted heads, going blow for blow to see who was the true alpha. Irie finally took Kroos off of his feet with a humongous shoulder tackle off of the top rope. However, the Headline wasn’t down for long, coming back with a series of chops and kicks.</image:title>
<image:caption>Despite the magnitude of the match, Kroos wrestled with his usual confident swagger and got the first near fall in the bout after a corner splash and back senton combination. The dominance from Kroos was short lived as Irie fought back with a flurry of elbows, leaving his opponent sitting dazed on the ring apron. Seizing his opportunity, Irie through his entire body at the seated Kroos, sending both men crashing out of the ring.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Once both were back in the ring, the two Kaijus both fought to recapture control, colliding with each other like Beyblades over and over again. Irie caught Kroos with a Samoan drop followed by a gigantic superplex from the top rope that shook the ring. The Osaka Obliterator locked Kroos into a deep sleeper hold but the Headline would not quit and threw both his own and his opponent’s bodies into the turnbuckle.</image:title>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - As expected, the competitors channelled their inner Vin Diesel and went at a fast and furious pace, not letting the other have a second to catch their breath. A devastating drop kick from the top rope allowed Oku to take control but only until Jordan fired back with an abundance of strike combinations.</image:title>
<image:caption>Jordan took to the air with a hellacious dive out of the ring and directly onto Oku and some of the seated NORTH faithful.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Each elite athlete traded animal based submissions with Oku locking in his signature half crab before Jordan reversed positions to sink in a camel clutch. <image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Michael Oku was in the driver’s seat at Thunder Road, delivering a Shearer-esque penalty kick to the chest of Jordan. After a sensational springboard moonsault, Oku climbed to the top in preparation for the world’s greatest frog splash but Jordan intercepted with a massive dropkick. The Karachi Kid followed up with an electric chair driver from the top rope before going Air Jordan, the move that had won him many championships around the world but it was not enough to put Oku away on this occasion.</image:title>
<image:caption>Jordan continued to thrive with a rolling cutter and piled on the pressure with a pummelling pop-up powerbomb. The result looked finalised as Jordan put on a jackknife pinning manoeuvre but Oku reversed the momentum to create a pinning combination of his own that was enough to get a three count.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - The action started in an expected frantic manner with Jordan and Hyan tussling in the ring while Bateman and Falcon taking to the ringside to scrap. Jordan went for a huge dive to the outside but the force of Falcon’s spit was enough to disrupt all momentum.</image:title>
<image:caption>This act of unhygienic villainy was enough for the Iron Queen to take charge of the bout, hitting consecutive exploder suplexes to Jordan and then Hyan and then delivering a suplex to Jordan onto Hyan.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - A chorus of dives came next, first from Jordan onto Bateman followed by Hyan onto both of her outside opposition. Chantal Jordan went high risk again, delivering a mega meteora to Hyan but couldn’t capitalise as Falcon had snuck behind to hit a backstabber.</image:title>
<image:caption>Hyan had found a resurgence of energy to hit a huge DDT to Falcon which would have been enough to end the match if the dastardly Bateman did not pull the referee out of the ring before he could count three.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Bateman then took the fight to Falcon who only invited more aggression from the Crime Lord by spitting in her face. Eve Bateman did not take to this too kindly and it only took one fireman’s carry driver to send Falcon to sleep with the fishes.</image:title>

<image:caption>Despite his plea for a clean fight, Matthews went to hit Coyle with a steel chair with a wild swing which not only missed his opponent but rebounded off the ropes and hit himself in the face. <image:title>News - Thunder Road Review //Sat 24th June - Man Like DeReiss tagged himself in and took no time to show his physical dominance over the furry foes. DeReiss and Leon Slater enacted some vintage Boisterous Behaviour double team manoeuvres on Lykos II with frequent tags to one another.</image:title>
<image:caption>This train of tandem attacks came to a halt when Liam Slater tagged himself in after being ignored by both partners. The trio went for a triple-team attack but miscommunication lead to both Slaters accidentally colliding but before the tension could boil over, BBGG took advantage and cleared the pair out of the ring. <image:caption>Coming to the rescue, Munny caught Slater slacking and tossed him across the ring in an incredible feat of strength. Leon Slater and DeReiss made their return, hitting a giant assisted blockbuster to set their team back on the path to victory. <image:title>News - Thunder Road Preview // Sat 24th June 2023 - Crime rates in the UK are currently the highest they have been this century and coincidentally, Eve Bateman has recently walked out of HMP. The Queen Of Crime may have left a lasting impact on the mean streets of Newcastle but is yet to make her bones at NORTH, being on the losing side in her last two appearances.</image:title>
<image:caption>However, Bateman has a fantastic talent of finding a way to get the job done and as this match is no disqualification, don’t be surprised if a hand loaded with the finest imported jewellery gets thrown once or twice.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Preview // Sat 24th June 2023 - Hyan has travelled the globe, winning titles wherever she goes, impressing the masses with her brutal blows, slamming down all of her rivals and foes. The Renaissance Woman has finally made her way to the company that is at the forefront of British Wrestling’s own renaissance. In recent years, Hyan has put away the likes of Rox-C (WWE’s Roxanne Perez), Kylie Rae and Jordynee Grace with either her devastating Grand Slam manoeuvre or by using her elite submission ability.</image:title>
<image:caption>Chantal Jordan may have been under the legal drinking age for most of her career but the litany of championships she has already won should quash any implications of her age meaning inexperience. The Bad Girl is a proficient technical grappler who already has a wrestling IQ of a seasoned veteran. The other competitors in this four-way would be wise to avoid starting a strike exchange with Jordan if they want to leave the match with all of their ribs intact.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Preview // Sat 24th June 2023 - The Bad Boi Gym Gang are the most despicable, villainous group to ever walk the Earth and at Let The Cannons Fly 4, the troublesome trio finally completed their maniacal mission of capturing the NORTH Tag Team Championships from Boisterous Behaviour.</image:title>
<image:caption>Kid Lykos and Kid Lykos II were the two who actually won the match but the overwhelming interference from Gene Munny did enough for him to deserve his own (admittedly illegitimate) title belt.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Preview // Sat 24th June 2023 - Boisterous Behaviour’s Leon Slater has earned the right to face Liam Slater for the NORTH Championship in the main event of Thunderstruck but at Thunder Road, the two will have to put that monumental match to the side to focus on the threat of BBGG.</image:title>
<image:caption>Something to remember is Leon Slater pinned his tag partner Man Like DeReiss to earn that opportunity but I’m sure the Lyrical Dragon doesn’t hold any animosity towards Slater…</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Thunder Road Preview // Sat 24th June 2023 - The team of Munny, Lykos and Lykos II are undefeated in trio’s competition and are not opponents that should be taken lightly despite their sunflower clad bodies. The delightfully devilish Gene Munny is a real wildcard in this matchup as his nefarious nature means he will be up to all sorts of cheating to get his team the win.</image:title>
<image:caption>Paired with the prodigy Kid Lykos II and the young veteran Kid Lykos, who are both just as talented as they are despicable, this is truly a formidable unit that may just be unstoppable in this current form.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Top 5 Moments In NORTH History - NCL.2.4/Losing My Edge saw the start of something special: the formation of Boisterous Behaviour. Man Like DeReiss is very much like the Notre-Dame cathedral in 2019, on fire and constantly making headlines. When the lyrical dragon needed a partner for the first round of the Tag Team Tournament, he called upon the debuting Leon Slater to fly by his side.</image:title>
<image:caption>The teenage sensation had a smashing debut, leaving the crowd astonished by his ability and leaving the ring slightly darker. Whilst attempting a spectacular 450 splash from the top rope, Slater caught the lights and brought a bulb crashing down.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Top 5 Moments In NORTH History - After their light-shattering debut, Man Like DeReiss and Leon Slater (now known as Boisterous Behaviour) would find further success in the Tag Team Tournament. Two young men found common ground in both being able to do really cool flips and fought with more chemistry than the periodic table despite only teaming together a handful of times.</image:title>
<image:caption>Boisterous Behaviour went on to cruise through the semi-final finding victory in a three-way bout. Slater and DeReiss captured the hearts of the crowd in their quest to capture the newly minted gold. Another team with unbridled potential in Crashboat awaited BB in the final. When the lights were brightest and the stage was set, Boisterous Behaviour stepped up and showed out. The newly crowned champions tore the house down (metaphorically this time) and the crowd exploded with noise once the referee counted three.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Top 5 Moments In NORTH History - NCL.2.1 was a reset for NORTH and was performed in front of a sold-out crowd. Finally, everything was back where it belongs; the NORTH faithful was back, Tom Campbell was back and wrestling was back.</image:title>
<image:caption>The show delivered as the perfect comeback with returns of NORTH favourites like Liam Slater, Gia Adams, and Gene Munny combined with the debuts of Crashboat, Lizzy Evo and Lykos Gym. A fantastic night was capped off with the Video Nasty, Rory Coyle claiming the vacant NORTH Championship in a hard-hitting four-way affair.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Top 5 Moments In NORTH History - Despite a pre-match assault, Rhio overcame the rising star Kid Lykos II in the first round using her signature package piledriver to put away the Problem Child.</image:title>
<image:caption>Rhio would go on to face Lizzy Evo (who defeated Jake Silver in the opening round) in the semi final in what was a rematch of Rhio’s NORTH debut. The Red Rose Among The Thorns had never defeated Evo in their previous NORTH encounters but this night proved different for Rhio.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Top 5 Moments In NORTH History - This outcome may have pleased the crowd, but Kroos didn’t take the result lightly and lashed out by savagely attacking Bandicoot after the match, topping it off with a piledriver onto the hardest part of the ring.</image:title>
<image:caption>After a night of world-class wrestling, the two warriors left standing met in the final to coronate the NCL Cup Champion. Bandicoot fought through his Kroos-related injuries to attack with an array of aerial assaults that almost saw him be the victor. In spite of the barrage of attacks, Rhio’s savage slams and strikes were too much for Bandicoot to survive.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Top 5 Moments In NORTH History - The sun had looked to be setting on the Bandicoot fairy-tale journey as Rhio hit her devastating package piledriver but the energetic enigma became the first person of the night to kick out of the manoeuvre.</image:title>
<image:caption>This unbelievable feat of endurance was only short-lived as Rhio wasted no time in hitting two further package piledrivers that ended the bout. <image:title>News - Top 5 Moments In NORTH History - Rory Coyle had been the thorn in Slater’s side ever since the return of wrestling. When Liam Slater came a second away from winning the NORTH championship, Coyle stopped the coronation and claimed the championship as his own. After coming so close to reaching the pinnacle of the industry only to be knocked down into the pit of failure, Liam Slater clawed his way back into championship contention and back into the ring with the villain of the story.</image:title>

<image:title>News - Top 5 Moments In NORTH History - The Sick Boy choked and chomped his opponent, but this was not enough to defeat the unbreakable will of a determined Liam Slater. After withstanding the brutality and bloodshed, Slater finally used the barbed wire weapon to assist his single leg boston crab and finish his story.</image:title>
<image:caption>Liam Slater overcame his own identity crisis and slayed the devil of NORTH. Finally, the man who started it all had his crown. From the depths of despair to the island of immortality, the Lazarus Kid winning the NORTH Championship was the perfect fairy tale ending.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - Two competitors both making their NORTH debuts, both out to make a claim to being on the main card in the future. As all good fights do, this one started with a lot of hair pulling and insult shouting. Early aggression from Phoenix was countered by the high-speed evasion and offence from Black. The two exchanged kicks and chops until both had chests redder than Taylor Swift’s fourth album.</image:title>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - The main show started in the usual way with Tom Campbell firing up the crowd but that fire was soon extinguished as it was Tory time. The Landed Gentry interrupted proceedings to complain about their exclusion from tonight’s Scramble match. They may not have been invited to the Scramble but a pissed-off Rory Coyle was on his way to the ring and he looked ready to turn Knox and Benji into a scrambled mush. Coyle wanted a match against the Landed Gentry and for once, the Tories (Benji in particular) gave the people what they wanted under one condition-Coyle had to find a partner. This match would take place a little bit later on but who would the sick boy pick to be his partner?</image:title>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - For the first time in NORTH history, the tag belts were being defended in a triangle tag match and what a match it was. Lykos Gym came to the ring escorted by the delightfully devilish Gene Munny, Boisterous Behaviour came to the ring with a pizza named after them and Crashboat were accompanied by the NORTH faithful firmly behind them.</image:title>
<image:caption>The match had an electric pace from the first bell and didn’t let up one bit. The early portion of the match saw the quicker member of each duo (Leon Slater, Jack Bandicoot and Kid Lykos II) tussle in an insane display of agility. It didn’t take long before every member of the match was in the ring delivering back-and-forth tandem offence.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - Lykos Gym’s ace up their sleeve, Gene Munny, soon made his presence known by lifting Slater above his head and throwing him over the bar. This incredible feat of strength led to a period of dominance from Kid Lykos I and II, isolating Bandicoot first and then taking advantage of Jake Silver.</image:title>
<image:caption>When all hope seemed lost, a resurgent Leon Slater emerged from the shadows and mounted a monstrous comeback of springboard assaults before hitting a huge, elevated blockbuster from Man Like DeReiss’ shoulders.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - Each team hit the other with a series of devastating double-team manoeuvres that would have the following pinfall broken up by the third team. It was clear it would take something dastardly to find a way to end this match.</image:title>
<image:caption>Kid Lykos took advantage of a distraction to hit numerous low blows to Man Like DeReiss before the villainous Gene Munny hit a fantastic dive over the top rope, taking out the rest of the field. The Lykos Gym took Jake Silver in the ring and hit one last move to end the match and become the second ever NORTH Tag Team Champions. Not to be left out, Gene Munny went to the back and came out with a third NORTH Tag Team Championship which is well deserved after his performance in this match.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - The debuting Raven Creed came up against Natalie Sykes who had won her own debut match last time out. This battle of the prodigies started with a cheap shot from Creed followed by utter brutality in the way of finger biting, limb stomping and a massive second rope DDT.</image:title>
<image:caption>Despite the vicious beatdown, there was still fight left in Sykes who delivered a massive superkick to break the chain attacks of Creed. Showing a brutal side of her own, Sykes begun to cave Creed’s chest in with a cluster of consecutive kicks to her kneeling opponent.</image:caption>

It didn’t take long for Creed to tap out but the ref was too distracted by the exposed turnbuckle to realise.</image:title>
<image:caption>The devious Creed took advantage of the commotion and hit her opponent with a cataclysmic piledriver that would have put most opponents out for a three count but the resilient Skyes could not be put down.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - Two teams made up of four of the hardest hitting men in the country could only end in a loud and furious clash. The early stages of the match saw at least a few ribs be shattered from Kessler’s massive chops and Wade’s bone-cracking kicks.</image:title>
<image:caption>It took a huge springboard uppercut from Kayman to get his team back into the match. Vusyk then joined in the attack with a barrage of uppercuts of his own to Wade before inviting Kayman in to take part in this uppercut party.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - After a period of double teaming Wade, a fired up Kessler entered the match to take out Vusyk and absolutely batter the Golden Boy in the corner. Both Joe’s were soon in the ring and threw knee strikes to lay out both opponents.</image:title>
<image:caption>Joe Wade rose above and delivered a double foot stomp from the top rope to win the match for his team. Kessler and Wade are now 1-0 in tag competition and will have their sights on the new tag champions.</image:caption>

<image:caption>It didn’t take long for weaponry to be introduced as a ladder entered the fray to act as a landing spot for a hellacious Margera powerbomb that almost left Gary Jay broken in two.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - The two titans of violence traded chops until they both had chests that were black and blue and red all over. Gary Jay used his cat-like agility to avoid a Margera attack and send him head first into a steel chair set up in the corner.</image:title>
<image:caption>Jay stuck with the chair related shenanigans and built a structure of chairs in the centre of the ring but alas, the Head Cat was hoisted by his own petard. Margera reversed the Jay assault and hit the feline fighter with a falcon arrow through the chair structure.</image:caption>

A team of Hendry and Coyle was certainly unexpected but could have a plethora of great team names, Viral Video Nasty would be my pick.</image:title>
<image:caption>After the bell rang, the Tories did what they do best and that’s being despicable and getting away with it. <image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - Rory Coyle delivered his signature air raid crash that had won him so many titles in the past. Before he could go for the pin, entrance music hit and out came Ace Matthews. This unexpected interruption was enough for Benji to spike Coyle with a DDT and secure a win for the Landed Gentry.</image:title>
<image:caption>This makes Benji only the third man to pin Rory Coyle in NORTH over the past four years with the other two being the Ultraviolent Champion Clint Margera and NORTH Champion Liam Slater.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - A match that started with a handshake didn’t take long to become a sound barrier breaking strike exchange with Martial getting the early upper hand, hitting the champion with an array of solid kicks and chops.</image:title>
<image:caption>Slater didn’t allow the initial assault to go on for too long, using his veteran expertise to ground Martial with a devastating dragon screw. The post-modern professional wrestler continued to target the leg, clearly having a submission victory in mind.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - A late flurry of offence from the challenger that was topped off with a dive to the outside made it look like hope was not lost but Slater managed to hook in his signature single-leg Boston crab submission to tap out Martial.</image:title>
<image:caption>There was a great show of respect shown after the match with Slater demanding that Jet Martial’s music be played. Slater now has become the first competitor to reach 10 wins in the post-pandemic NORTH world.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - The first entrant was making his second appearance of the night but this time, Ace Matthews was scheduled to be here. Before Matthews could get too far into his speech, the crowd erupted in what was one of the loudest reactions I have ever heard as Amir Jordan’s music hit.</image:title>
<image:caption>The crowd was so raucous as a result of Jordan’s appearance that Matthews couldn’t hear Coyle sneak up behind him. The Sick Boy got revenge for earlier in the night by battering Ace Matthews with a kendo stick, allowing Jordan to get the pin and the first elimination of the night.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - Former tag-team champion Man LikeDeReiss was the next entrant who had only ever been pinned once in NORTH which was in his debut match. The action was fast and furious with MLD getting the upper hand by running over Jordan at speed and hitting an explosive snap suplex.</image:title>
<image:caption>The next entrant was no other than the only man who has been able to pin DeReiss, Will Kroos. The Headline made swift work of taking out both men, using Jordan as a projectile weapon to take out DeReiss.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - The big bad bodyslammer of dads wasted no time in wiping out Bandicoot with a huge boot to his head. Kroos clearly posed a King Kong sized threat in this match which is why Jordan and DeReiss had to team up to take down the beast with tandem dropkicks.</image:title>
<image:caption>Gene Munny was next to join the field but the new tag champions, Lykos Gym were the only people on the entrance ramp. This wolf-based distraction was enough for the dastardly Munny to sneak into the ring and hit DeReiss, Jordan and Bandicoot with his newly acquired tag belt.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - Out came the next competitor, Leon Slater who immediately made an impact, taking out Munny with an aerial assault. Bandicoot tried a high-risk manoeuvre of his own onto Kroos but the risk did not pay off as the Headline caught the flying man and hit the Kroosifiction to make Bandicoot the second eliminated competitor.</image:title>
<image:caption>Slater and DeReiss delivered their signature tandem offence to take out the goliath threat of Kroos temporarily but the final entrant may prove to be the biggest threat of all.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Review // Sat 20th May 2023 - The two biggest monsters in the match faced off in the centre of the ring preparing for a collision that would topple the soundest of building foundations but before Kroos and Huxley could get to the destruction, the third biggest threat, Gene Munny, involved himself. Surprisingly, this was unwise.</image:title>

<image:caption>Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make Boisterous Behaviour plus Jordan returned to action with a barrage of super kicks to Kroos but it wasn’t enough to take the big man off his feet. Huxley was back up and hit Kroos with a tremor-inducing chokeslam which was enough to eliminate the Headline.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Preview //Sat 20th May 2023 - Liam Slater is on the cusp of making history at LTCF4 as he could become the second NORTH Champion to ever defend the title successfully on six occasions, matching the record set by the man he beat for the title, Rory Coyle. This show will mark day 371 of the title reign and to celebrate, Slater is offering an open challenge to anyone willing to step into the ring with the post-modern professional wrestler. The last time the title was defended was also in an open challenge with NJPW star Gabriel Kidd answering the call. Liam Slater did typical Liam Slater things as he put on a wrestling clinic with Kidd and came out the victor.</image:title>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Preview //Sat 20th May 2023 - For the first time in NORTH history, the tag-team championships will be defended in a three-way match. The current champions, Boisterous Behaviour, are on the run of their careers. At NORTH, BB are undefeated in tag team competition with a 7-0 record. Individually, the champs have been just as impressive with Leon Slater only ever being pinned once since his debut and Man Like DeReiss boasting the longest winning streak in NORTH history with 9 consecutive victories. The Lyrical Dragon will be looking to become the first ever NORTH wrestler to win 10 in a row, but he and Slater will need to overcome their biggest challenge yet.</image:title>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Preview //Sat 20th May 2023 - At the last show, Clint Margera became just the second person to defeat Rory Coyle in the last four years to become the second holder of the Ultraviolet Championship. Through the use of barbed wire, thumbtacks and other torture materials, Margera won the championship, but this match left more than just scars and bruises on his body; winning the championship left a massive target on the back of Margera and it was only a matter of time for another bloodthirsty fiend to step out from the shadows.</image:title>

<image:caption>Raven Creed may be out of her mind, but her opponents are usually out of luck when they come face to face with this terror. Creed has dominated promotions up and down the country and at the age of 20, became the youngest women’s champion in OTT history.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Let The Cannons Fly 4 Preview //Sat 20th May 2023 - This match set out to answer the question that has been pondered for millennia: Can true friendship overcome two big goths? CPF are very much the boy band of professional wrestling, they have the best synchronised moves, stupendous fashion and they all have great hair. What’s more impressive than their style is their seemingly impossible high-flying ability that has proved super effective against their larger opponents. Representing CPF on this occasion are Joe Lando and Danny Black but any combination of the platonic syndicate would leave a lasting impression on the CPF’s NORTH debut.</image:title>

<image:title>News - Joe Hendry’s Top 5 NORTH Moments - Joe Hendry is the pinnacle of entertainment and the undisputed king of custom entrances.</image:title>
<image:caption>When Hendry was set to face Will Kroos at NCL.3.1, he decided to channel his inner capitalist cowboy and make his entrance as JoeBL. Accessorised with the signature white hat and towel, Hendry came out riding behind a white toy car with bull horns attached to the front and this was probably the first time JBL’s music got a positive crowd reaction maybe ever. What makes this entrance even better was that it interrupted and subsequently ended a Shreddy promo.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Joe Hendry’s Top 5 NORTH Moments - Hendry had seemingly met his match in terms of charisma as he went one-on-one with Scotty 2 Hotty.</image:title>
<image:caption>The Local Hero made his entrance to a custom song that mocked his opponent’s previous WWE career and viciously insulted Hotty’s signature finisher move that the crowd obviously cheered on in admiration. However, the master of the worm got the loudest crowd reaction of the night by just removing his hat which visibly upset Hendry. It took five minutes from the opening bell for the first offensive move of the match which was a cheap shot from the prestigious one.</image:caption>

<image:caption>It wouldn’t be a signature Joe Hendry moment without a custom entrance song. The Answer parodied the classic ‘What Is Love’ before making his surprise appearance to a raucous reception. Despite being on the same team, Hendry and Shreddy clashed like beyblades with their massive egos trying to push the other out of the spotlight.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Joe Hendry’s Top 5 NORTH Moments - This match was very much an attempt by both competitors to prove something.</image:title>
<image:caption>Liam Slater wanted to prove Hendry was nothing but a gimmick who couldn’t hang as a pure wrestler. Joe Hendry wanted to prove not only could he wrestle but he could out-wrestle the best that NORTH has to offer. Hendry had the strength advantage and it showed with an abundance of high-impact power moves that left Slater bruised but not beaten. The two titans traded blows in the forms of powerbombs, a top rope superplex and submission manoeuvres. In the end, Hendry went for his one more power move, but Slater reversed with a victory roll to take the pinfall victory.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - Joe Hendry’s Top 5 NORTH Moments - In December 2022, Joe Hendry made history by defending his title at NORTH, the first time that the Digital Media Championship had been defended in the UK.</image:title>
<image:caption>The prestigious one set an open challenge and who better to answer the call than NORTH favourite Amir Jordan? The crowd was elated to see Jordan accept the challenge, but Hendry must not have been feeling the same knowing that the Bhangra Bad Boy had won 7 out of his last 11 matches in NORTH. Joe Hendry is over 200 pounds of pure inspiration and used all his mass to overpower Jordan at seemingly every turn. However, Amir Jordan used his acceleration and agility to fight back against the larger man and turn the contest in his favour.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - NCL Cup Preview // Sat 8th April 2023 - Making his NORTH debut is one of Britain’s finest wrestlers: Luke Jacobs.</image:title>
<image:caption>At just 22 years of age, Jacobs has already had huge success on the British wrestling scene. The Young Gun competes often in Progress Wrestling and Revolution Pro Wrestling and made his debut for New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2022. Jacobs has experience in winning tournaments as he came out as the victor in the Progress Atlas Title Tournament to win the Atlas Title, beating JONAH (current WWE performer, Bronson Reed) in the final. This title win made Luke Jacobs the youngest male solo champion in Progress history.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - NCL Cup Preview // Sat 8th April 2023 - The Dream Chaser is back in NORTH with hopes of taking the NCL Cup back to Merseyside.</image:title>
<image:caption>Lizzy Evo has already had a storied career at just 24 years old being the longest reigning TNT Women’s Champion of all time and the final ever Defiant Women’s Champion. One-night tournaments are nothing new to the Liver Bird, having won the Great British Heritage Tournament in CATCH Pro-Wrestling. In NORTH, Evo has a record of 3 wins and 3 losses, most recently losing to Millie McKenzie at NCL.32.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - NCL Cup Preview // Sat 8th April 2023 - One of the best heavyweights in the wrestling world is coming to NORTH for a thirteenth time to run through the competition and lift the NCL Cup (with ease because he’s really strong).</image:title>
<image:caption>Will Kroos has won gold in promotions all across the nation and isn’t showing any signs of slowing down. With the power of a brown bear and the agility of a gazelle, Kroos excites audiences and terrorises his opponents. During his time at NORTH, the Final Boss has had five wins including victories over Martin Kirby, Session Moth Martina, and most recently, Kidd Bandit.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - NCL Cup Preview // Sat 8th April 2023 - Rhio is well on her way to solidifying herself as one of the faces of British professional wrestling. Winning the NCL Cup could be the catalyst that changes the wrestling scene into Rhio’s World.</image:title>
<image:caption>The Unbreakable one recently went viral for defying death and becoming the new ICW Women’s World Champion by beating Molly Spartan in an epic clash. In NORTH, Rhio is currently on a three-match winning streak in one-on-one competition and holds an overall record of 4 wins and 3 losses. The purple-haired punisher possesses an unrivalled thirst for violence that will leave any opponent battered, bruised and beaten.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - NCL Cup Preview // Sat 8th April 2023 - The Problem Child will be hoping to have the problem of finding a suitable mantle to place the NCL Cup come April 8th.</image:title>
<image:caption>Kid Lykos II is one of the best young wrestlers in the world at just 20 years old, making him the youngest competitor in an outstandingly youthful competition. The fury-faced fighter is on the fast track to becoming recognised as a staple in British wrestling and an NCL Cup victory could be what springboards him to the very top. In NORTH, Lykos II is more commonly seen as part of the stable Lykos Gym which means the rule banning interferences in the NCL Cup could really hinder the younger Lykos’ chances.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - NCL Cup Preview // Sat 8th April 2023 - The Houston-born Sykes is looking to rocket her way to the top of the British wrestling scene using the NCL Cup as fuel.</image:title>
<image:caption>The 21st Century Liability will be seen as one of the underdogs in this competition due to her relative inexperience compared to the other competitors, but it won’t be the first time Sykes overcame the odds to succeed. Natalie Sykes made her NORTH main roster debut at NCL.34 with a victory over current Progress Women’s World Champion, Lana Austin, delivering Austin her first one-on-one loss at NORTH. Sykes is the current Tidal Women’s Champion, a championship that has been held in the past by fellow cup competitors Rhio and Lizzy Evo.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - NCL Cup Preview // Sat 8th April 2023 - In his short time at NORTH, Martial has already become a favourite amongst the fans who are sure to go mental if he is able to Jet off with the NCL Cup.</image:title>
<image:caption>After three consecutive losses to Rory Coyle, Warhorse and Shreddy, Martial picked up his first win at NORTH against Leyton Buzzard. The Infamous one will be hoping to carry this newly found momentum to finally start a lengthy winning streak that would involve claiming the NCL Cup as his own. Martial possesses a honey badger like aggression, striking fast with vicious assaults that will leave his opponents like a newspaper: black and blue and red all over.</image:caption>

<image:title>News - NCL Cup Preview // Sat 8th April 2023 - The NORTH faithful love Jack Bandicoot and they will tell you, honestly, they would love it if he beat the competition and wins the NCL Cup.</image:title>
<image:caption>The Worm of West Yorkshire wrestled more matches at NORTH in 2021 and 2022 which surely gives Bandicoot a home-court advantage compared to some of the newer talent to travel to Tyneside. Seeing Jack Bandicoot in action is like watching a match at double speed; he travels around the ring like a tornado, striking his opponent from all angles with a variety of innovative manoeuvres.</image:caption>
